High CPU usage and no connection

#1 Post by Faneliano » 2024-05-15 22:07

Hello.

I'm having problems with the Filezilla client. I see that it has a high CPU usage and it is almost impossible for it to connect to different FTP servers, especially when I use TLS

Some clues that can help me/help you detect the problem

- It only happens on my windows 10 user account. On the same PC but with another user account, the problems do not occur.
- I am using the latest version of Filezilla Client, but the same thing happens with other versions (e.g. 3.58)
- Does not connect to automatic updates.
- Even when I close the program, it remains open and with high CPU usage in the task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC).
- Windows 10 installed with all its updates; Windows Defender and Malwarebytes do not show positive results for viruses.

What could be going wrong?

Your system trust store may have a huge number of custom CAs or huge CRLs. Try cleaning up the system trust store, check your Windows manual for instructions.

Et Voilà!
It was that. Just deleting the CRLs solved the problem. Thank you so much!
