Filezilla 2.2.5 installer program "dumps" on NT4?

I use filezilla since some time on NT4 and NT5 (win2000) computers.

Currently running 2.2.4f on NT4

I sucessfully installed new version 2.2.5 on Win2000 as usual,
but don't succeed to install it on 3 different NT4 machines.

The installation process on NT4 makes a dump "dr.watson user.dmp" early after the choice of the options to install.
I don't remember the details (code, address) but could look it up if necessary.

The 3 NT4 machines are all same hardware, an elder IBM300PL which is a bit old but good simple standard (S3 graphics etc.)
Two of them have same software (distribution of preconfigured NT4 by network admin), the third one is an individual standard installation of NT4 and SP6a without special extras, which I normally use as 2nd partition for repair activities and NTFS defrag purpose on partition 1.

As my simple standard NT4 fails 2.2.5 install too, I suppose that Filezilla has a more general problem with NT4.

Experiences from other users, or comments from developer welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried to download and extract the zip package instead of the setup program?

I've only used the .zip versions of the Filezilla client myself whether it be win95 or now win xp pro. I guess it is also because I do the same with the mozilla.org products I use/test also.

@botg

I downloaded the 2.2.5 zip version and extracted the files into the existing filezilla program directory.

It works. Thanks.
