Your account seems disabled. Contact the server administrator.

Re: could not connect to server
well I don't know what server administrator I should talk to because I remember using Filezilla for windows long time ago and I did not need to have a real server, it was just like a "home/made" server if I could called that way I mean that it was nothing like having a real server, I do also remember that for windows you have like client and a server.botg wrote:Your account seems disabled. I have no account what so ever and I don't really know how to get one for free
Re: could not connect to server
Filezilla can only connect to FTP/SFTP servers, so there must be a server somewhere.

Re: could not connect to server
well I have a modem which is called Router Monopuerto what I don't know is that If I have to use the IP or the address of my MAC and another things is that I don't have to connect to my router because is automatically the company controls the connection, I also know that I am not using any firewall just incase you where wonderingboco wrote:Filezilla can only connect to FTP/SFTP servers, so there must be a server somewhere.

Re: could not connect to server
Do you see the time?
I don't know what hostname or IP you entered, so it's just speculation.
A real FTP server running on a real machine will show the correct time for sure. This wrong time usually comes from a router and similar hardware device which the network admin has restarted but didn't set up the time (it probably started at Sat Jan 01 00:00:00 2000).Tue Jan 04 01:16:36 2000

Re: could not connect to server
Well for the Host-name I am using my Router IP address and for Username should I do something like ftp.name.com ? I have tried many things already and I am out of ideas now.boco wrote:Do you see the time?A real FTP server running on a real machine will show the correct time for sure. I am wondering how can I change the set up timer? the thing is that my router is a modem and I don't have to go to my IP address to change the configuration as it is automatically by default. This router I have it on 2008 so is weird to me that this time is just wrong I am using a MAC OSX V10.5.6 Leopard INtel Core 2 Duo and I wish I could upload my files my friend needs this so much and that why I am trying my best to make it work. otherwise I should use the post office services and at this point I would really love to use this technology too any help?
Re: could not connect to server
Why? Do you want to connect to your router? The server you want to connect to has an adress, like ftp://example.com or ftp://ftp.example.com - put that into the host name field. Username and password you got from whoever owns the FTP server.Well for the Host-name I am using my Router IP address
Test if the client is working: Put releases.mozilla.org into the hostname field and leave the other blank. Then press Quickconnect button.
