About Quick Connection History

Hello ~:

There is a computer in my lab for everybody's usage. Therefore, we usually used FileZilla to connect others' FTP servers by typing IP and username/password in Quick Connection field. However, we wouldn't like someone else to connect to others' FTP servers without typing anything and just clicking the history in Quick Connection.

I found a way to clean the history. If we choose "FileZilla.xml" to store the site information, open it, and find the tag "RecentServers", then delete them.

We hope that the FileZilla maintainers can add this function for cleaning the history of Quick Connection.

Thanks very much. 8)

When you install FileZila you could enable "Secure Mode", in this mode FileZilla does not save any passwords. Very useful on public machines.

Thanks for your reply.:)

If I download "zip" version of FileZilla, how can I enable the function "Secure Mode"? :P

I'm not one hundred percent sure, but you probably need to use the Setup version of FileZilla Client to take advantage of secure mode.

I'm running portable filezilla from a USB thumb drive and i'd also like to disable password logging in case I lose the drive or something. I can't find the secure mode either.
