SFTP to SSH Tectia Server displays no folders in root

#1 Post by unhappybirthday » 2010-04-29 03:41

I'm connecting from FileZilla 3.3.2.1 to SSH Tectia Server 6.1.4 (Windows). I successfully connect but the root list comes back empty. I can traverse into folders that I know exist by typing them explicitly. My other SFTP clients (SSH Tectia Client and Putty) list the contents of the root properly. Any settings changes or other ideas? Thanks!

As you can see, "raw directory listings" shows the proper directories (intranet_newsletters, users, micro) but the root appears empty in the GUI.

The listing is in a weird basic format - lacking all information besides the name.

Thanks for your response. These directories at the root are all "virtual folders" that redirect to various places in the local file system and external file systems. There are no rights or dates associated with them, per se. Again, the other SFTP clients I've used (SSH Tectia Client, Putty) do display these.

I guess this listing format simply is not supported by FileZilla at this time. We must wait for botg.

Indeed, not supported and won't be added, parsing that stuff is impossible, especially if you consider filenames with spaces. If I were you I'd run OpenSSH as server.
