can't upload pdf files but can upload word documents

After I installed the latest version of FileZilla, I cannot upload pdf files. Every time, and with different pdf files, the progress bar indicates 60.6% of the file is uploaded and then the uploading stops and I get a critical transfer error. I can upload word documents with no problem.

Below is some of the response I get from the server.

Looks like the server doesn't allow it.

I've uploaded pdf files quite frequently in the past so it is not a case that the server doesn't allow it.

Then the server's local storage is inaccessible, full, or you exceeded a quota.
