Hello.
I'm running on Ubuntu - Latest version.
Filezilla 3.3.1
EDIT >> SETTINGS >> CONNECTION
I have the 'timeout' as 9999 seconds (Long long time by my clock..)
however, I'm updating / uploading files to a server - & looking at the http website & see how its changed, & then repeat the process..
PROBLEM :-
it appears from my logs, that I am "connecting" to the server each and *every* time I'm trying to upload a file...
I'm new to Filezilla (& not too 'expert' at Ubuntu, but no spring chicken..)...
Can someone advise what settings (on Filezilla), I should be on, & what questions should i ask about the server / web-host, so i can resolve this problem..
Thank you
Stay connected to server ?

Re: Stay connected to server ?
The timeout setting only controls how long FileZilla waits for a response from the server. The browsing connection will stay alive as long as the server decides (timeout is set on the server). Secondary connections (for transfers) will always drop after being idle for 60 seconds.
