Walk me through this.

I have just hired a server, and they tell me that i have to dl FTP, and have reccomended you. They also said that i need to dl adminmod and "copy the files to the server to the server as per instruction". Start me off here. What do I need to do first?

The instructions for loading adminmod are here: http://www.adminmod.org/help/online/ You need to follow the 'Manual Installation - Walkthrough' section

You will probably need to download adminmod to your PC, unpack the zip file, then copy the files up to the server as per the instructions.

Have you tried RTFM? One would be led to believe that the first thing to do would be "download adminmod to your PC"...
