sorry a little paranoid... but important

Hello to All,

I'm obviously not a computer genius. Hence my question...

Somebody - who I mildly trust - has installed File Zilla on my desktop (he initially needed to upload a number of pictures and told me that it would be much quickier than via email). I'm a little bit paranoid and would want to know the following:
- is there any way that this guy, from a distance, can freely search onto my computer (without me knowing) and upload any of my files?

Thanks for your answers.

Zan

As long as it is the FileZilla client and not the FileZilla server, you'll be allright.. Just see if it says "FileZilla Server" somewhere.

Eddan,

Thanks a lot for your assistance.

So far, all I can see is the version: 2.2.3

I've tried to look but can't seem to locate where it would say either "server" nor "client".
Do you know where I can look?

Thanks again,

Zan

The version number tells us that this is the FileZilla client and not the server so it's no problem :)
