hello.
im completely new to the whole ftp thing, i just wanted to ask if i can use FileZilla to install my phpbb forum.
i need it for my hosted for free website at http://www.mmorpghq.tk but i dont even know if i can install a real phpbb forum for a hosted for free website like mines, thats why im here for some help.
im currently using a hosted for free forum, and decided that its time to change this.
please help!

I suggest spending the $8 a month and getting a real webhost.
If this is a project you are really into, that isn't a lot to ask. If you don't have a job, that will only cost you about 2 hours a month, or you could mow a lawn or two...
If you do have a job (sorry, I don't know your age) common, it's $8 a month, and you get a real webhost with pretty much all the stuff you'll need or want already installed. Including phpbb. I suggest http://www.dreamhost.com or maybe http://www.2mhost.com but there are thousands of good cheap webhosts.
As for if FileZilla will help you install phpBB, that really depends on if your host supports php and what they let php do.
FZ can get your phpBB files online at your host, but that is no guarantee that it will run like you expect. Applications like that have a lot going on behind the scenes that won't work if the host doesn't want it to.

i will pay a real webhost when its neccesary. i got a free website at the moment, but with only about 10 registered users on the forum and a few webpages (http://www.freewebs.com/mmorpgheadquarter/index.html) i made the whole thing in about 2 days, but thats because its hosted for free. anyway, i know exactly what i want. im cannot work yet, im 13. but im savin up for a new computer wich will be really perfect for me since all those programs like maya, 3ds max, dreamweaver, photoshop really lagg (only photoshop works perfect), when i start up Maya it just kills my computer... anyway, back to topic. I found a webhost for 6 dollar a month, they support php (and many more), 35 mysql databases, 35 GB bandwidth, and 1200 mb pace. i currenty only use 15 MB bandwidth, so yeah its not really neccesary yet to pay for a real webhost. i can get about 9 euro a month (well you can't expect much more then that since i dont work yet).
