windows naming convention in "Remote site:" field

#1 Post by ubuntuv » 2011-06-02 12:48

hi,

I run filezilla client on windows XP machine and I connect to unix ftp server. To navigate the files in the server, I have to use the naming convention /abc/def/ghi in the 'Remote site' field. When I enter \abc\def\ghi, it fails to fetch the location. Can someone tell me any setting that can be done, so that \abc\def\ghi also works.

thanks in advance.
uv.

Impossible to do, as the backslash is a valid filename character in *NIX.
