I'm testing the fileZilla client ftp with a ms ftp 5.0 IIS server.
I've in office a folder quit a lot of file (about 1000). I'm trying to make a system with sync features.
in server side I've a
"sviluppo" folder
and the same folder in home pc. I use winrar to load these file in my pc at home. so the folder and the files are identical (the modified date because the create date is reacreated in home pc at first time).
if I set in option the check on "overwrite if newer" and preserve files date /time of downloaded files.
when upload the file in pc home'folfer "sviluppo" in remote ftp server folder I would no file to upload because they are also updated. but a lot of files, not all, however are uploaded. also the date on server side are modified with fate and time of server but i believe this is normal because it's a problem of iis ftp. When I download the file from server to home pc fileZill work fine because skip the file with same time/data.
any suggest? if I use a fileZilla server the problem can be solve?
