FTP error occurred- cannot put index.html . 550 permission

Hello, My problem is, i cannot upload some of my files to server and this is what i get:
An FTP error occurred- cannot put index.html . 550 permission denied.

You really sure? That error message is not from FileZilla, FileZilla won't ever use the word ''put''.
Whatever you use, that 550 Permission denied message comes from the server, which forcefully denies you the right to write to that file/location. You can solve this only by contacting the server administrator.
Edit: Since you seem to be the server administrator, check the permissions for that resource.
