Is there anyway you can disable the FEAT command when connection to a FTP site?

No, FEAT is needed to detect some of the server capabilities.

I know that but not all serves supports it (I am connecting to an iSeries). I have been using WS_FTP Pro for many years and it has an option to turn FEAT on and off when connecting.
