Hello,
If you have a windows 2000 mapped shared filesystem, opening it somehow destroys filezilla installation. Rebooting does not help. You cannot open FileZilla. I find that only a complete reinstall of FZ is necessary.

The problem is caused by a faulty implementation of the Windows API. Don't use mapped drives/folders, use FTP instead.
To fix FZ, change the "Default Folder" setting in the FileZilla.xml
