"Cannot retrieve directory listing" using Port 22

Hi all,

Filezilla version 2.2.22
Windows XP

Problem: Receiving message "Could not retrieve directory listing" when connecting via Port 22

I can connect to any other website/server using standard port 21.

I have been given these FTP settings by a client and must use Port 22 in this instance.

With same details (i.e. host address, username / password, Port 22) I can connect successfully via Mozilla Firefox. So I can rule out any problems with the FTP account details I have been given.

Oh, should mention that a colleague can connect via Windows Explorer using all the necessary details, but I'd rather use my preferred FTP program, Filezilla.

Any ideas?
