Connection Problem

Unable to log on. Connection made but recieve following message.
Response: 534 Policy requires SSL.
What does this mean?? :?:

You need to connect using explicit FTP over TLS. Either prefix the hostname with ftpes:// or use the site manager and select explicit FTP over TLS as encryption.
