Hi.. I have a new computer and want to move all my account settings in filezilla to the new laptop.

On the old laptop I did a EDIT->EXPORT SETTINGS to FileZilla settings.xml and moved that one file to the new laptop and sid an import.

It said import successful, yet all my ftp account log on names, pw's, etc does not appear on the new machine,

what am I doing rong??

Like its name suggests, "Export settings" only exports the settings, not the sites. To export the sites, use the export function in the site manager.

I am using FileZilla 2.2.12c. I don't know how to find the "export function in the site manager". When I click on File>Site Manager, there opens a window labeled "Site Manager" (please see the graphic at http://64.33.7.192/filezilla.jpg) on which I do not see any option to Export. Clearly, I am either missing something or looking in the wrong place. I will appreciate any help. Thanks. Peter

On the top of the Site Manager window, click on "File" and the Export / Import functions are there.

I also think it is a bit hard to find.
