Critical Transfer Errors

For the last hour, I have been unable to transfer ANY files through the FTP Client. All I get is "criticial transfer error". Doesn't matter what type of file, nothing seems to be getting through.

Now I am extremely noobish when it comes to the technical aspects of Filezilla... my knowledge of it peaks at knowing how to transfer files, and that's about it.

I've been using FileZilla a lot the last few days... transferring and updating my files often per day, and now that has abruptly stopped. Why the sudden change?

Any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I seem to be having the same problem in CoffeeCup_FTP too, if that makes any difference to the situation.

Either the server is not working properly or some router/firewall on your end is misconfigured.

How could a router just misconfigure itself?
