Download Problems

Hello,
I use a http://www.example.com ftp host site with a username and password. When I upload a file and place a "download" link on my website it requests a username and password in order to download the file. Is there a way I can make that download available to the public?

Depends. If the ftp host site allows anonymous access, then yes.

You also could use ftp://username:password@ftp-site.com/filename.ext. But that would leave the username/password visible to the public...
