do I need to uninstall to update

I'm at version 2.2.22. I'm going to update. Do I need to uninstall version Filezilla 2.2.22? Or should I do the installation of the most recent version WITHOUT uninstalling first? I assume if I don't uninstall I'll retain the FTP site configutations I already have in the program, that's why I was wondering if I can get away with putting the newest version on without an uninstall.

Just install over the old version. All configuration and sites are retained.
