First connection to TLS (RaidenFTPD) server

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else had this experience as well. Basically the problem I am having is during the first connection to my RaidenFTPD server.

The server is behind a firewall using static nat. The server is set to use port 990 for TLS login, 21 for regular, and a specific data port range. Behind the firewall I'm pretty sure I've had the problem once or twice, but it doesn't seem as often. Externally most of the time the first time I connect it does this:

Status: Connecting to example.com:990 ...
Status: Connected with domain.:990, negotiating SSL connection...

Hangs and does nothing. I attempt another connection and it logs in normally.

I'm using FileZilla 2.2.7a and the latest RaidenFTPD server.

I will also post this on the RaidenFTPD forum, but I didn't know exactly where the problem may be. Thanks for any help!
