silent install problem when file in use

#1 Post by doum » 2013-10-04 10:00

Hi,

I'm trying to test deploy Filezilla with SCCM
I'm encountering a problem, the /S switch for silent install seem to not test if Filezilla is already in use (no problem with manual setup, it detects that Filezilla is running, and ask me if I want to ignore/abandon/retry)

The problem is :
- it can't upgrade the filezilla executable (normal)
- but it upgrades registry keys (for exemple, version is set to 3.7.3) so SCCM thinks that Filezilla is installed and it will never retry to install it.
- the setup returns with error code 0, like if all was ok

In a silent install mode, filezilla setup should stop if it can't upgrade filezilla executable and send a failed return code
