Hi all,

Please advise how to .create new file on remote server?

I have been searching around including "FTP Client Tutorial"

I can create new folder. Thanks

Create an empty local file, then upload it.

Or, on recent FileZilla versions, use the "Create new file" feature through right-click.

Thanks.

FileZilla is running on Ubuntu 12.04 (64bit) which is a client (VM) of Oracle VirtualBox.

FileZilla freezes frequently for unknown reason. I have to reboot the VM. Where shall I check? Thanks

Try Debian instead of Ubuntu. The latter has severe stability issues.
