Automatic download / upload?

#1 Post by Dariusz » 2014-01-15 22:37

Hello

I've recently clicked an icon on filezilla which looked like sync feature. It actually happen that I need an program that is able to process multiple files at the same time and filezilla is great at it. So here is what I need.
Start on windows start and run
FTP folder
10 clients
I want FTP folder to be synced to 10 clients every 5 mins, if files different by size - override. If no - ignore move forward. I dont care if it adds more and more files to 10 clients I dont want filezilla to delete stuff... Only add and correct if changed.
Then I want filezilla to do the same thing but backwards. Watch driver D and sync all stuff from D to FTP every 5 min and resume all uploads.
Is this possible?

I'm setting up a render farm on amazon i want all my images to get saved on FTP and all my project files to be downloaded on slaves. I use allsync now but it only process 1 file at a time, can filezilla save me ?

Win 7/8/server only.

So Filezilla cant just drag and resume content from 1 folder to another automatically every 5min? I did that manually seem to be working just fine...

In any case do you know maybe any alternatives?

I have a similar need. Can filezilla be automated with applescript or automator on the mac side of things? Or maybe a cron job? Thanks!

I think I asked this same question about a year or two ago. There is not even commandline automation with FZ.
I am I.
