Error message: sitemanager.xml~couldn't be removed

Error message: sitemanager.xml~couldn't be removed

When I open or close FileZilla (3.9.0.6) I get an error message (though FZ continues to work):
File 'C:\users\myname\AppData\Roaming\FileZilla\sitemanager.xml~' couldn't be removed (error 0: the operation completed successfully)

Suggestions appreciated!

I guess it is the same issue like in this thread. No solution yet.
