Hi and thanks for your help in advance.
Today FileZilla asked if I liked to update.
And I clicked "yes please".
Notice I didn't change anything about my FTP log in info, and before the update all my FTP's worked perfectly.
The only change is the update.
So after that was finished I tried to log in to my FTP's.
I got the following message:

Status: Server does not support non-ASCII characters.

Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (69,195,124,180,218,184)
Command: MLSD
Error: Connection timed out
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing


Why is this, I didn't change anything right?

Ended up with the same error as you !
Everything was working fine before that

What as change and is the "Server does not support non-ASCII characters." being part of the problem ?!?!

WE need some infos pls

The used character encoding doesn't matter in this case.


In the new version, FileZilla uses FTP over TLS by default if the server accepts it. It appears your server isn't configured correctly for FTP over TLS.

Thanks, the problem has been soled.
I changed the encryption to FTP only.
And it works like a gem.

Fixed that for 'ya.
