Can't proceed after login

Hi, just starting with Filezilla. I can connect but not not see the expected public_html folder.

Log shows

Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Insecure sewer, it does not support FTP over TLS.
Logged in
Retrieving directory listing...
Directory listing of "/" successful

But all I see is a a yellow folder (?) icon and a backslash.
Attempts to change directory, or connect to public_html fail.

I tried a suggestion found on Google about "Ask your operating system for the external IP address"
but no change. I think it was selected anyway... and all other settings are the default.

Others can login OK so it's not the site. I have a Fritzbox 7490 router.

Are you sure about the backslash? According to the log it should be a forward slash.

That's completely unrelated.

You're probably right about the forward slash and the reference to Google was more information in case it helped.
The problem was an "anonymous" login when it should have been "normal". All is now working.
