Uploading Issue

#1 Post by sumnerdu » 2007-11-14 00:38

Hello,
Im having difficulty uploading files, below I have listed what I have done to trouble shoot my problem up to now. **Im a lot desperate at this point.** Basically what is happening is when I choose a file to upload to the remote server, it will transfer up to 100% then just stop without finishing the upload. All remains the same after the following.

1. McAfee - Contacted support, got FileZilla added to my programs with Full Access permission, and also allowed my firewall to allow port movement for FTP'ing. None of this worked even though it needed to be done.
2. Disabled McAfee firewall first, then uninstalled completely, both determined McAfee was NOT the issue.
3. Installed another FTP client application called Core FTP. Same issue with that application. Tranfer to 99% then stop. This rules out FileZilla.
4. Began trouble shooting internet connection and linksys router. Installed FileZilla on another computer, file transfer was successful with same network connection. This also rules out FileZilla as the issue.

I know this issue is not related to FileZilla, but Im hoping someone else has experienced the same type of problem at some point.

Any suggestions besides "throw the pc out the window" will be much appreciated. And BTW, I have not done that yet, but it is on my list of things to try.

Thanks ahead of time.
