This command is locking me up and refusing my connection. I CAN connect to other servers except one and their support has replied back with no issues.
If it's some problem with me (firewalls et al.) I don't understand why connections go through on all my connections.
It seems this new account (created since last upgrade) gets this "new" command where as my old ones don't.
You can see this here https://www.screencast.com/t/Z84zUvOhfuQp
I can't find a proper solution anywhere. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Re: Command: MLSD > ECONNREFUSED
Hey botg, - I did that and made a new discovery outside of this.
First: I followed your link to test server & it produced this result:
Warning: The entered address does not resolve to an IPv6 address.
Status: Connected, waiting for welcome message...
Reply: 220 ProFTPD 1.3.2e Server (ProFTPD) [67.215.197.71]
Command: CLNT https://ftptest.net on behalf of 209.239.6.207
Reply: 500 CLNT not understood
Command: AUTH TLS
Warning: Server refused AUTH TLS, trying deprecated AUTH SSL fallback.
Command: AUTH SSL
Error: Server refused FTP over TLS
Results
Error: Server refused FTP over TLS
Make sure your server allows FTP over TLS and has a valid certificate configured.
Some stateful firewalls filter the AUTH command. If that should be the case, replace the faulty firewall.
Second: I got through but this can only be done with the FTP profile in Site Manager.
Go to the Transfer Setting Tab > change Transfer mode from Default to Active.
No Command: MLSD in the log. Directory listing successful.
It worked
Doesn't seem an intended type of function for FZ though. Hope this helps.

Re: Command: MLSD > ECONNREFUSED
If the server doesn't support FTP over TLS, you need to test using the "Plain FTP" profile. For now the test result just tells us that the server does not support secure connections in 2018! No words for this.
By using Active mode, you merely worked around this presumed server issue. Note that FileZilla will always use MLSD if the server supports it, Active mode doesn't change that.

No support requests over PM! You will NOT get any reply!!!

Re: Command: MLSD > ECONNREFUSED
Tested with Plain FTP - same result (ECONNREFUSED) with Transfer Mode set to Default. - Set Transfer Mode set to Active, it works. Doesn't use the MLSD command.boco wrote: ↑2018-06-06 20:43If the server doesn't support FTP over TLS, you need to test using the "Plain FTP" profile. Re: Command: MLSD > ECONNREFUSED
I am so sorry for not responding back to this thread after my fix. Ends up my host company needed to make the fix and from what I understand in other forums, each case is unique cyber wise.
If you use basic hosting, expect the unexpected. Costs nothing more than time .. but if time is money, go dedicated.
Time versus money - so complex. They use each other.
