Forgot Hostname and password

Hello.

I know this is really stupid..

The situation is that I have not been logged in for around 3 years, but have had my website online for all the time(its a portfolio), which I now need to update.
And I cannot remember the hostname/password.

I have trying to look around for answers.

Is there anybody who can help a newbie..?

There's nothing stupid about asking a question. Not asking is stupid.

If you didn't save the login data in FileZilla, or the saved login data does no longer work, you need to contact the support of the company hosting your website. They can help you because the FTP server you're trying to connect to is theirs.

Ah sorry!

It is username and password.(that makes me stupid!)

I know my hostname, but cannot remember my username and password for logging into FileZilla.
What can I do here ?

The people you pay to host your site, you need to contact them.

Or if it's a free host you still need to contact them.

You cannot log into FileZilla. FileZilla is just a tool, we don't provide any services like hosting etc. Your site is hosted by another company, which also run the FTP/SFTP server. That's the people you need to ask.

Ofcourse, and now I remember how it all works. Just found the information from my website-hoster, and logged in.
