Files are Downloading Recursively

Hello,

This is the first time I have ever ran into this when downloading files from my server.

I get this message "recursively adding files to queue"

How do I disable this?

It use to just go through the folders automatically and download the files, but now that it is download recursively it seems a lot slower and it is giving me a "download complete" every X amount of files.

It has to do with the number of items to be transferred. For low count of files and directories, you don't see it. But FileZilla needs to build the queue of items to be transferred. If the server is under load, the process can be slow.

It doesn't mean that it is reworking or transfering duplicated files?

That process was always there. Message will show only for large directory trees (many subdirectories) because it has to add each one-by-one. You can't get the whole tree at once from an FTP server.

For low count of items, it won't show, only if the process is taking some time. Let it work, otherwise you won't get all files you want.

Danke schön boco, you were completely right. It was a matter of time and let filezilla do its work. Transfer finished without any problem.
