I manage an FTP server where we regularly change the password.
Some of the user have been reporting an issue where FileZilla is able to connect to the server with the new password, but at the moment of the download it re-connects with the old password and get authentication error as expected.
I was never able to reproduce the issue in my own computer. But today I was able to connect to a computer which had the issue.
It didn't matter if I deleted the entry in the Site Manager neither if I renamed the SiteManager.XML file from the computer and created again from scratch with FileZilla.
The only solution that worked was to delete the %AppData%\FileZilla\queue.sqlite3 file.
Will it be possible to fix this issue in future releases?
Edit: The user was not using the password encryption, what I saw as just the default base64 encoding.
FileZila keeps remembering the old password in the Site Manager

Re: FileZila keeps remembering the old password in the Site Manager
This is not a bug. Changing the password in the Site Manager does NOT change the password for transfers that are still queued from previous sessions. Tell the users to remove their old stale queue entries and build a new queue.
In other words: User error.
