Client 3.35.2.0 wont start after update

#1 Post by Roath » 2018-08-16 20:49

Been using Filezilla for years.. never had an issue.

But client wont start after this update.. tried a complete un install and re install and the same issue.

Windows 7 64 bit , downloaded the 64 bit version.

I really need FTP access today and I don't want to change to another FTP Client.. I love FileZilla ( Plus I have all my servers loaded saved.. well I hope I still do!)

Many thanks

Rob

Please uninstall FileZilla, make sure the installation directory is completely gone and only after that reinstall. Does this change anything?

I'm afraid not.
I made sure the folder was blown away with the uninstall.. and tried again with the same outcome.

Interestingly I tried with 3.35.1.0 and got the same problems. ( Client never loads.. not GUI shown). So something the 3.35.2.0 upgrade has done cause this perhaps?

I gave up on my lappy and have installed 3.35.2.0 onto another PC now and all working..

Thanks for your support

Rob
