Around August 9, 2018, when I click Open/View file, the default program opening the file is Notepad and the file opens in gibberish. The only way I can read the file is to download it and then open it. When the the files are opened this way, the format of the file is changed. Prior to this date, I could right click the Open/View and the file would open without download. Why has this changed and how do I change it back? I have tried editing the settings (which all use notepad as current default) but they won't take the change and revert to notepad.
My system is Windows 7 and I have the latest Filezilla update. I use Adobe Reader X

File association functionality has not been changed in any recent update.
