FileZilla update process Enhancement Request

Hi,
It seems like FileZilla does not advertise to the user a new version is available until after he has made a server connection. This is most annoying.

Can you please advertise the new version as soon as possible instead of waiting until after I've connected to my FTP server?

Today, to help verify my theory about this, I purposely launched FileZilla and waited a while (because I expected a new version, like I got on another client). I didn't get the new version dlg until after I connected to the server and started downloading files.

The update check happening in the background is intentional, users shouldn't have to wait as the connection to the update servers may be slow.

Open dialogs block popup dialogs, this is also intentional, nesting dialogs can have strange effects, in addition to confusing users.
