I am only sharing my experience..
I have used FZ for years on mac..recently I noticed over the past view OS upgrades that my Mac has very very slow IP stack.
So wheres the link...to FZ?
Well after many rebuilds of my various Mac laptops (yes totally eliminated hardware) I was certain it was a package issue. (btw, I have worked in Software Dist/Management for over 20years)
Slowly I eliminated package by package, over subsequent rebuilds (Apple make it so easy now with iCloud, and we only use Google docs).
I can tell you, my conclusion is that FileZilla is breaking the stack..I am quite concerned that since the introduction of the installer for FileZilla, you can skip as much as you wish the extra freeware, you get something you you didnt want installed, possibly monitoring traffic, though that is speculation.
Im sorry, but my conclusion is enough to stop using FileZilla. Shame as it was awesome.
If the PM wish to contact me directly to investigate I am more than willing to help.

Re: Slow TCP stack on Mac
No idea as I don't use Mac, but did you know that you don't HAVE TO use the bundled installer? The non-bundled package is always available at
