I've received a notification from my company security team that when I installed Filezilla client for OSX it also installed Tireroom. I've been instructed to remove the tireroom software as it gets flagged as malware (I'm assuming it is, since I can find very little information about it online.

Is there a procedure to uninstall it that someone could point me to? I've already removed FileZilla.

False-positive, there is no malware in the installer.

ok, can anybody explain to me what timeroom is?

If a crazy person on the street tells you that you have Blagurghlagurgh and you want to know what it is, you have to ask said person what it is.

Contact your security team for assistance to inquire what Tireroom is.
