I wanted to make an update but I kinda get only errors.
My operation system is Win10 64bit.
This is the first error:
Well I sometimes get before, that the file is not accessible at its current path (/) with given rights - I also get it with admin rights.
Afterwards (after pressing OK) I get this one:
Then comes the regular License Agreement dialog. After that the installing starts.
Until...
If I press retry ('Wiederholen') the same dialog comes.
Then ignore:
Note: this is not the first which comes directly afterwards.
A set of this dialogs pops up.
I finally canceled the process.
Amy suggestions?

Re: Cannot update to 3.40
Looks like you are running the installer with Windows' compatibility settings set to pre-Win7 specifically for the installer.
Re: Cannot update to 3.40
If I take a look at the settings of the exe no compatibility option is enabled.
Re: Cannot update to 3.40
Which version of Windows 10 are you using?
Are there any third-party virus scanners installed on your machine?

WinVer: 10.0.17763
Virus: no; just Microsoft one itself

Re: Cannot update to 3.40
The initial error makes absolutely no sense.
In any case, if you install without elevated rights, select an installation directory you have write permissions to.

Re: Cannot update to 3.40
Try to right-click the installer file and select "Run as Administrator".
