Filezilla changed my passswords

Not a newbie. Been using Filezilla for years. No prob -- until it was. Yesterday,after a routine updating of Filezilla Client, I suddenly was unable to log into any of my three GoDaddy accounts.
After trying the typical uninstall/reinstall solution (to no avail) I finally realized my FTP account password was twice the length it should be. My two other accounts had the same incorrect info. After re-entering my passwords, everything worked as it should.
The takeaway is: if all else fails, maybe your password(s) have magically changed !
