Hello
I was having problems with the ECONNABORTED issue with 3.42.2, I tried the RC candidate 3.42.0-rc1 which did not work. I then installed the stable 3.42.1 version which seemed to have worked a lot better.
But now every time I start Filezilla I get a message to update to the rc1 version. Removing the downloaded file from the download directory didn't do any good. There is a menu button with the update install nag.
How can I remove that button and message, it's kind of annoying
Thanks

Re: Removing "New version is available" button and message
Then I get the error and Filezilla becomes useless to do ftp transfers.
I'll live with the message until the ISP fixes their issues, I hope

Re: Removing "New version is available" button and message
You shouldn't get the message if you have, under updates, "Stable versions only" selected. After all, 3.42.0-rc1 is not considered a stable release.
