3.42.0 no more compatible with MacOsX 10.13
Hello,
Filezilla asked me to upgrade to last version.
So I let it replace my working version by the brand new one.
But it does require MacOsX 10.14, and I'm running 10.13 (like lot of Mac users) !
1) There should be a warning for pre 10.14 users.
2) The requirements indicates 10.9 not 10.14.

It should still be compatible. What error message do you get?
Re: 3.42.0 no more compatible with MacOsX 10.13
"You can’t use this version of the application “FileZilla.app” with this version of macOS."
"You have macOS 10.13.6. The application requires macOS 10.14 or later."

That is most bizarre, the update statistics show that there are already plenty of users of 3.42.0 on all versions of macOS from 10.9 onwards, including 10.13

It happens only with latest version (3.42.0 of May 2nd 2019).
I had no problems with 3.41.2.
I had no problems with 3.41.2.

I just update and I get the same error.

Indeed, looking at the histogram of the updater data, there's something weird going on with 10.13:
With numbers normalized to 1.00 for 10.14, there's a most peculiar drop on 10.13:
I've disabled the update to 3.42 for users of macOS 10.13 until this can get analyzed further.

Code: Select all
OS 3.41.2 3.42.0
10.9 0.01 0.01
10.10 0.02 0.03
10.11 0.06 0.07
10.12 0.09 0.1
10.13 0.28 0.02 <-- Much lower than it should be, yet still there are users
10.14 1.00 1.00
