Cannot edit file from within FileZilla

Hi!

In the setting of FileZilla I configured my locally installed Notepad++ to be used for editing files.
On my remote machine I created a new file with FileZilla and want to edit it now. Unfortunately the context menu item "View/Edit" on that file is greyed out.
I also tried to use my system default editor but that did not work either.

What do I need to do to get Notepad++ opened for editing the file?

Solved. Most times the problem is sitting in front of the keyboard...

I did not create a file but a directory...
