Transfert speed question...

Hi,

A sftp server on the backbone of a Telco operator 1000/1000 Mb/s: 2 HDD RAID0 Debian Stretch openssh-server
A PC client using provider services of the same Telco operator 1000/300 Mb/s : 1 SDD Disk drive Ubuntu 18.04 Filezilla 3.28.0

Download Test on a 2GB file, traffic speed with vnstat on the server
Filezilla : 112 Mb/s
psftp : 292 Mb/s
sftp : 800-950 Mb/s

When I transfert 10 files together from this server with Filezilla I get :
850-950 Mb/s

Clearly : The network bandwidth is OK.
The server is OK (i validated it with 10GE ethernet card at a least 5Gb/s).
The computer is OK.

Why this bandwidth limitation in filezilla client for single transfer ?
Is it a bug ?
Any idea ?

Best Regards,
R2D4

The version of FileZilla you run is not supported here (repository version). Please contact the repository maintainer, who has to provide full support for the third-party distribution.

Please note the distinction between bits and bytes. FileZilla displays speeds in bytes per time unit, compared to network equipment which advertises speeds in bits per time unit for marketing reasons, because higher = better.
