Hello,

When I try to connect to a site (that worked previously), Filezilla is showing these errors:

Error: fzsftp could not be started
Error: Could not connect to the server

Nothing has changed as far as I know. I am able to connect via WinSCP, but it's much slower and I prefer FZ. My colleagues haven't had any issues with the same connection.

I do have fzsftp.exe in this folder (which is where FZ is looking): C:\Program Files\FileZilla FTP Client

If I run it directly, it says 0fzSftp started, protocol_version=8

I've tried uninstalling FZ, removing the folder and the app_data folder, and re-installing using the latest version, and I get the same error.

Does anybody know what else I can check?

Are you using any third-party virus scanners or firewalls that could terminate the fzsftp process or block its communication with FileZilla?
