How to configure using control connection address for data connection

Does this FileZilla client have ability to ignore PASSIVE mode external ip address for data connection and use control connection address for data connection? If so, how to configure it. If not, can developers add this function to this client application?

FileZilla does this automatically, but only if the Passive address returned is invalid (e. g. LAN address).

Thank you for the reply. Our FTP processing is to F5 ip address, then forwarded packet to FTP server for control connection, and server provides server IP (valid public ip) and port number for passive connection. Is it possible that developer add this option to force to using control connection ip for data connection on FTP client app since it has this automation fall back if it is invalid ip for passive data connection,
