Ophalen van mappenlijst is mislukt

#1 Post by tverbakel » 2019-08-24 11:17

When making a connection via a crosslink cable, I get the message that retrieving the directory list failed. I already tried to re-install the client (including restarting the laptop), used plain FTP, switch FTP server off and on again on my humax. Anyone have any idea what the next step might be to get the folder list?

Cross-link / Cross-over cable most probably refers to a direct peer-to-peer LAN connection, using fixed (or APIPA) IP addresses. In this case, there is no router nor any NAT involved.

My best guess is that the software firewall on the server machine is not configured correctly for letting incoming data traffic over the configured data ports (Custom port range in FZ Server settings) pass through.
