Hi All,

Do we know if S3 supports the preserve timestamps feature of FileZilla? If so, how do I get it to work?

Here is the example of the failure:

Thanks!

Unfortunately no, this functionality isn't available. Even if, it would only work one-way, S3 itself does not provide any means to change the remote modification time, other than to the current actual time.

It turns out that the aws s3 cp command and Cyberduck support this when downloading, which is all that we need.

This is the "one-way" @botg referred to - only download, as setting timestamps on the local filesystem is possible.

@botg: Is it possible to activate setting timestamps on download for all protocols? Of course, there needs to be a warning for those not supporting timestamps on upload (remote ones). Maybe splitting the timestamps option into download and upload, with the latter being unavailable for unsupported protocols.

Important note: As S3 is a feature of FileZilla Pro, please post any further problems in the official Pro customer support forum. See here.
