Directories missing in list but can find them with search

#1 Post by naturalblue » 2019-08-30 21:32

When I connect to my server and go into my content directory, there are 4 sub-directories that are not showing up. I can access and edit these with another program that I use, TextWrangler, and when I do a remote search in Filezilla it can find them but it won't let me open or edit them at all through the search window. The folders start with _ so I'm wondering if that's the issue perhaps?

I have gone into the settings under Debug and checked the "Show raw directory listing" box, which didn't help. I also went through all of the other settings to see if I could find anything that would be preventing me from seeing them and didn't see anything. I also read about servers limiting viewable files to 2000 but I don't think that's what's happening either because it shows that there are 2620 directories and I can view all of them through TextWrangler.

Any ideas why these won't show up?

Do you have directory listing filters configured to not show these files?

No, I checked the filters and none of them were checked.

You mentioned you checked the "Show raw listings" Debug option. If you do so, and get a listing of the directory in question, the raw listing is printed to the screen log (+file log, if enabled). If you check the screen log, do the missing directories appear in the printed raw listing (raw listing is printed in a blue-ish color)?
