I am trying to modify the Nginx file of my server and upload it back via FileZilla however i am getting the critical file transfer error as follows:
Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (167,114,113,15,98,70).
Command: STOR nginx.conf
Response: 553 Could not create file.
Error: Critical file transfer error
Same error happens when i try to replace php.ini file on my server.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Critical File transfer error
If you use a hosting provider, those very often do not allow modifying of any vital configuration files and block transfers of them over FTP (by access rights). You need to use their tools or web panels for such tasks. Reason is that these files are very often manipulated in malicious ways, once attackers get hold of your FTP credentials.
If you self-host, the files could simply be in use as the processes are still running.
